Last month, two of our students entered the British Championships for Weightlifting and all their training paid off.

Johnny Houlker-Mountier came 2nd with a silver medal and Amelia Green just beat him to gain a gold medal in their age category! He stated that there had been 27 people in his category and the winning lift was 30kg - about the weight of a large double radiator or a 10 year old child!

These are fantastic results for our students and demand a lot of training to reach such a high level of skill. We all congratulate them and wish them further successes.
