Today the Academy joins the nation in mourning the loss of Her Majesty, The Queen.

At 9am today, the Academy will be showing our respects by observing a 1 minute silence followed by a prayer from our Chaplain.

Father in heaven,
We thank you that you have made us in your own image
and have given us gifts in mind, body and spirit.
We thank you now for Queen Elizabeth II
and what she meant to each of us.

We thank you for her tireless dedication to duty for us as a nation and as we honour her memory make us more aware that you are the one from whom comes every perfect gift.

Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of all comfort: deal graciously, we pray, with this nation and nations across the world who mourn.

We also send our prayers to members of the Royal Family. Be with them during this time, let them know the comfort of your love.
