On the 16th January, The Family Trust took over the Chapel for a week and delivered their annual ‘Reflection and Prayer Space’.

KS3 and KS4 were invited to take part in hourly sessions during their regular RE lessons. Students were able to participate and reflect on the seven different activities that were created in line with the theme ‘… Be transformed by the renewing of your mind’ Romans 12:2.

Our Chaplain Mrs James said ‘Every year The Family Trust create a wonderful bespoke experience for the students to take part in and this year was no exception. It was lovely see students reflecting on their thoughts and feelings around topics such as forgiving and forgetting, hopes and dreams, keys to success and new directions. Many students and staff commented on how special the space is and how they always look forward to the chapel transformation that takes place and how peaceful the Chapel is during this time, even when packed out with 30 students. It truly is a special event!’
