Lucy Dunne in year 11 wrote this review of a recent theatre trip:

"Yesterday, my Year 11 Drama Class, Year 10 Drama class and a small number of other students from the Academy were taken on a trip to see Blood Brothers at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley. As we study this play throughout our GCSE course, I feel I have now developed an even wider understanding than I had already been taught, including the characters, costume and set. I felt as if I was able to really begin and analyse the different techniques used within the performance and I had a much great understanding of their purpose. This trip will definitely help us all even more with our written exam with the wider knowledge I have now learnt. We had a brilliant evening which was lots of fun, and we would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs Carlo, Ms Gibbons and Mr Knuckles for taking us … and putting up with the noise on the train!!
