Yr.7 and Yr.8 students represented the Academy yesterday in Athletics against 12 other schools!

The attitude, team work and effort was amazing from all of them. This meant we scored really high on the team points (it’s an on going league) and included some outstanding wins, and top 3 places.

In particular Ava won the 300m, Shemi won Long jump, Olivia won the 200m, and the boys and girls relay teams both came 2^nd!!

There were more great positions but Mr Challis commented on how happy he was with how the students all approached this on their own to achieve these results.
