Students in Year 7 and Year 8 took part in the National Junior Maths Challenge run by UKMT. This challenge puts students’ mathematical reasoning and problem solving skills to the test in a tricky exercise of 25 brain busting questions. Entries from schools all across the UK are marked and judged externally by UKMT and we are very proud to share that we have students in both Year 7 and Year 8 who achieved Bronze and Silver Awards!

Congratulations to all students who took part. Certificates were presented in assemblies last week and all students who took part were recognised for the their efforts. We are very proud to have such a wonderful cohort of budding mathematicians coming up through Key Stage 3.
