Yr11 Geography Students out and about on Fieldwork
Mrs Kasongo reports on the latest practical fieldwork session:
"The Year 11 Geography classes have been taking advantage of the good weather spells to complete the final elements of the GCSE course ahead of exams – fieldwork. Students have been out on 2 occasions to survey the local urban areas and the ecosystem for song birds. We were proud of how the students conducted themselves as they collected the different data. The students worked well together as they made the various observations. We are sure these will be useful as they reflect on the fieldwork process examined in Paper 3.
As the Yr11s worked hard to finish the course and revise, everyone in the Geography Department wishes them the best of luck with the upcoming exams! "
