Mr Chaliss was proud to be able to report back that our students excelled themselves recently:

"The Year 7 and Year 8 students who represented St Augustine recently in Athletics were competing against 12 other schools!

The attitude, team work and effort was amazing from all of them. This meant we scored really high on the team points (it’s an on going league) and included some outstanding wins with top 3 places being awarded.

In particular, Ava won the 300m, Shemi won Long jump, Olivia Smith won the 200m and the boys and girls relay teams both came 2^nd!!

There were more great positions but I was more than happy with how they all approached this on their own (I run the whole competition so they manage themselves to get to events etc) to achieve these results."
