Girls’ Rugby 

Sophie Goodwin and Chloe Simmonds played in their Kent Cup Final game and were crowned cup winners against Ashford Girls. There were various finals going on the day of the competition - a Cup, Plate, Bowl and Spoon - meaning our girls and their team mates have won their league this season, finishing top and winning the cup to add. This is a huge achievement!

It was a fiercely contested game between both teams, with some very physical challenges being put in by both teams and some scintillating Rugby being played. Chloe and Sophie's defence was evidently integral to the teams success as no one was able to get through them!

Extra-curricular sucesses

Although these achievements were not from school sporting performances, it is nice to recognise the success of our students:

Chloe Simmonds (Yr10) – Won ‘Most Improved Player’ at Aylesford Bulls at their presentation evening.

Jay-Jay Hudson (Yr9)  – Won the Kent Cup with his rugby team Aylesford Bulls

Evie Wright (Yr10) – Won the South East regionals Gymnastic competition
