As part of our commitment to engage all pupils and not just the most academic, we have started a horse riding intervention. They spent half the day feeding, mucking out, grooming and doing general yard work and then were rewarded with a riding lesson.  The girls that went today loved the experience and they are going to continue to engage in this scheme until the end of term. The buzz they both came back with was beautiful, they had been in the sun, scooping poop and they had loved every minute!  Their behaviour was exemplary and the stable staff commented on how wonderful it was having them there. This type of approach has worked wonders with our students in the past and we are particularly encouraged when students find their passion and we are able to help them realise it. Well done girls!
