On Thursday 6th July, 18 SAA students were fortunate enough to attend the Gallagher Open event at Hermitage Quarry.  This was a fantastic experience for our students to see the quarry and have a site tour, experience what it was like to operate a digger through a simulator and to have a go at virtual welding and build bug hotels!!  The experience really opened the students eyes to the great variety of jobs within the construction industry and to a very local employer!!
