Mrs Hayes reports on a superb student success:

" During my Art in Creation club that I run after school, the students entered a competition being run by Maidstone Inter-Faith Group. The theme was Peace and Faith. I am pleased to say two of our students gained 1^st and 2^nd places, Violet Nye was first and Kelly Hosztafi came second. I attended the special event celebrating World Faith day at Maidstone County Hall and the students, with their parents, were there too. The students received a certificate and prize and mention from the Mayor of Maidstone.  Chris Passmore, the Maidstone Councillor, spent time chatting to the families as well. It was a lovely celebration of different faiths and several different faith leaders gave readings and there was a choir too.

All in all a wonderful way to contribute to our local community and celebrate our Academy’s Christian ethos."
