BackHarvest Festival
Posted on: 4th Nov 2024On Thursday 17th October 2024, St Augustine held its Harvest Festival in aid of ‘Making a Difference to Maidstone’ a local charity that helps those in need within our community.
As you can see this year was the greatest ever!! We were so proud of our students who, once again, collected a bountiful harvest!
MADM charity were over the moon with our contribution and were blown away by the decorated boxes that classes had created to collect their donations in!
The charity had the task of choosing 3 winning boxes which proved to be a very difficult task, however the winning tutor groups were 7E – Miss Jackson, 9A – Mr Delyfer and 9D Mr Jerman – a very well done to all who took part.
As ever, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all parents/carers/staff and students who made this the biggest collection of food we have ever had the privilege to donate to a local charity.
This truly is a testament to our school values ‘Compassion and Community!’
God bless
Mrs James
