Kent Youth County Council recently held elections to find out who would become their next set of representatives. Being a KYCC rep is a prestigious position to hold as successful candidates get to work alongside the 'real' KCC to make changes for young people across the Kent.

We are very pleased to reveal that one of our own SAA students - Avery in 7E - has now been awarded a place representing young people across the county! This is the second year in a row that SAA has put forward its own candidate and been successful. Avery campaigned on the issues of food bank accessibility, community safety and young people's mental health services. Congratulations!
